Our Managing Director Ivan Lyons has done it – 52 Marathons in 52 weeks!

Ivan has raised £5,500 for the charity Tusk as well as running over 1,362 miles

We were really pleased to find out that Ivan had completed his goal of 52 marathons in 52 weeks over the Easter weekend. He even completed this fantastic achievement with 5 days to spare. Ivan ran his first marathon when he was 29 so it has taken him 21 years to get here but everyone at Investment Solutions is very proud of our financial planning marathon man.

Over the course of Ivan’s running he has raised lots of money for a variety of charities. The latest charity he is supporting is ‘Tusk’ which helps the preservation of wildlife in Africa and in particular threatened species  such as elephant, rhino, cheetah and chimpanzees. He has raised £5,500 so far for Tusk and is grateful for all the donations and the support that has been given by friends, family, colleagues and clients.

Ivan has in fact now run 152 marathons, but feels he needs a new challenge – 100 marathons in 100 weeks.
