Investment Solutions have been based in Grafton House, Grafton Road since the early 1990’s.
The building has changed little since it was built, although thankfully we now have modern amenities.
During World War I the building was owned by Arthur and Martha Stubbs. Their son, Cecil Stubbs served with the London Regiment (Royal Fusiliers) died on 2nd July 1916 aged 22 and is buried at Warlincourt Halt British Cemetery, Saulty Pars De Calais, France.
A series of letters written by the late 2nd Lieutenant Cecil Arthur Stubbs to his parents in Worthing from the time of his departure from England until the date of his death and matters of general interest alone have been preserved and are available to read at our office.
We have much to thank the late Lieutenant and his comrades, however if he were to walk into our building today we would very much like to think he would feel at home and that the building has been preserved sympathetically.
Due to our continued expansion within Investment Solutions, we purchased the adjoining property in Shelly Road in 2019. We now employ 30 people across the two buildings.
